The company during the fourth quarter of 2011, signed contracts totaling about $65m to design and supply emissions control equipment for four of Luminant’s coal-fired power plants, including construction at two of these plants.
B&W PGG president and COO Richard Killion said securing this work shows Luminant’s confidence in B&W PGG to provide the right environmental solution for their fleet.
"Each plant has different needs from an emission control standpoint, all of which can be handled by our broad portfolio of environmental products and services" added Killion.
B&W PGG is a subsidiary of The Babcock & Wilcox company.
Luminant is a Texas-based electric utility and wholly owned subsidiary of Energy Future Holdings Corporation.
