The amendment agreed between Dart International and SSE has introduced a second phase to the original agreement, for five years starting from April 2015.
As per the deal, Dart International will be able to deliver incremental volumes of gas to SSE, on identical terms and conditions to the existing agreement.
Last August, both the partners have entered into a deal for the first phase for five years commencing from April 2013, and with no minimum delivery requirement.
Under the current deal, Dart can deliver all current PEDL 133 2P gas reserves of about 45 billion cubic feet (Bcf) during the term.
Price payable for gas delivered under the agreement is linked to the prevailing prices at time of delivery in the UK natural gas market.
The extended agreement puts potential gas sale volumes from the PEDL 133 project to over 60 Bcf.
