Under the terms of the agreement, bundle application control software from McAfee will be bundled into S&C’s PC-based control platforms.
The bundle Application Control Software of McAfee will increase the security and protection of the control platforms of S&C and prevent any unauthorised attempts to change the control device and issuing alerts.
S&C Cyber security architect Rohit Khera said, "This bundle augments traditional signature-based detection technologies with whitelisting, memory protection, and change control functions."
McAfee vertical markets senior director Jennifer Byrne said McAfee’s work with S&C represents an important step towards advancing the protection of electric control platforms.

S&C devices are further protected by eliminating the patching cycles, reducing in-field breakage, and zero-day attacks.
