Located at Aley Creek on the southeast side of Williston Reservoir, of Tsay Keh Dene, British Columbia, the project is believed to have 286mmt Measured and Indicated Niobium Resource at a grade of 0.37% Nb2O5 (Niobium Pentoxide).
Tsay Keh Dene chief Dennis Izony said, "This agreement lays a solid foundation for long term cooperation and mutual benefit by Tsay Keh Dene and Taseko while ensuring that Tsay Keh Dene rights and interests are respected".
Taseko president and CEO Russell Hallbauer said,"This agreement will serve as the foundation to strengthen our relationship as we continue to develop the world class Aley project."
The agreement also includes environmental studies, developing employment, training, and business opportunities, and participation and capacity funding.
