Metadigm testing and warehouse operations facility area vice president Matt Heath said most of today’s early generation smart meters can be upgraded if right systems are in place.
"What we do in our meter reprogramming practice is technical, precise and critical. We are investing in making technical meter upgrades easier for our customers across the country," added Heath.
The company majorly supports meters of GE, Sensus, Tantalus, and Landis+Gyr.
Metadigm Services also plans to expand meter reprogramming services in the West and Canada in the near future.
The company is upgrading infrastructure at Covington plant to undertake more meter retrofit and upgrade projects in the coming months, which includes its meter recycling program, which handles 50,000 meters a month.
Metadigm also plans similar enhancements for their Midwest and Southwest meter reprogramming facilities, which are equivalent to the Covington plant and support utilities across the country.
