The Gas Company general manager of Maui County Mustafa Demirbag said the new facility is representative of TCG’s commitment to the reliability of service and improved energy security for the region.
Representing a 25% increase in propane storage facilities for TCG on the island, the expanded capacity will help meet the growing demand for clean energy in the region.
"The existing and new tanks can provide up to five weeks of clean gas energy for Maui customers," added Demirbag.
Subsidiary of diversified infrastructure group – MIC, TCG is a clean energy provider to both residential and business entities on each of Hawaii’s six major islands.
