The company’s jack-up’s Sea Jack and Sea Worker will be used to install the turbines, generators and blades.
A2SEA CEO Jens Frederik Hansen said that the company had provided a vessel solution which is robust and tested thoroughly within the offshore wind industry.
"The vessel solution secures optimum discharge and logistics from the load-out port. Through good cooperation with RWE we anticipate an effi-cient, safe and smooth project execution," added Hansen.
RWE npower renewables Gwynt y Môr project director Toby Edmonds said the installation will see the project remains on schedule to deliver green energy from 2013.
"These vessels will work in conjunction with our own Seabreeze class construction vessel, Friedrich Ernestine that will install wind turbine founda-tions in 2012 / 2013," said Edmonds.
The wind farm is expected to be completely operational by 2014 and will generate electricity to suffice 400,000 homes.
