Green Technology Solutions (GTSO) mining subsidiary GTSO Resources’ joint venture partner, Diamond V Associates (DVA) has successfully completed acquisition of sizeable mining concession in western Ghana, Africa.
DVA has acquired approximately 29sqkm area which was mined extensively by major corporations which include Newmont Mining and other giants.
GTSO CEO Paul Watson said that the Ghana land mining concession acquisition is expected provide potential value of the minerals it contains.
"We plan to assist DVA with a proposed work program that calls for diligent reconnaissance activities to obtain the necessary geological, geochemical and geophysical data to proceed with the potential discovery of gold and other valuable minerals on the concession," Watson added.
It’s possible that DVA and its partners have just struck the mother lode with this acquisition," Watson said.
DVA is scheduled to gather new core samples on the site for testing.
In addition to exploring high-potential traditional mining opportunities in Africa, Chile and North America, GTSO is pursuing early-stage urban mining operations in North and South America.
