The onshore farm features 15 G90-2.0MW type wind turbines supplied by Gamesa which can generate over 65,000 megawatt-hours of electricity on an annual basis.
Electricity generated by the facility can meet the power needs of 32,500 households in the region and will offset 65,000 tons of CO2 emissions.
The Gamesa G90-2.0MW type turbine will have a rotor diameter of 90 and a hub height of 78m.
RWE Innogy CEO Dr. Hans Bünting said the company intends to have an operational capacity of 300MW in Poland by 2015.
"Owing to the excellent Polish wind sites, we are on a good path and intend to continue our investments here," said Bünting.
"At present, our Nowy Staw wind farm with a capacity of 39 megawatts is under construction."
" It is due to be commissioned early in 2013."
RWE Innogy has five wind farms in operation which include 41MW Suwalki, 35MW Tychowo, 32MW Piecki and 14MW Krzecin wind farm.
The company will now have an installed capacity of 152MW, with the addition of the Taciewo onshore wind farm to its wind portfolio.
