The new system employs 240 panels, supplied by Canadian Solar, which will provide green energy to three of the hangers.
Located on Hanger 1, the system’s installation support was provided by Coronado Homes. The company said more solar installations are currently being planned for the center.
The jet center will payback the cost incurred to build the system in five to seven years owing to a business rebate from FPL and 30% tax benefit from the US government.
