Vestas will deploy nine units of its V112-3.0 MW wind turbines at the project beginning the first quarter of 2013.
The scope of the contract includes delivery, transportation, installation and commissioning of the turbines alongside a VestasOnline Business SCADA system and a 10-year service & maintenance agreement under active management output option.
Commenting on the contract Tefirom Group CEO Tevfik Öz highlighted the company’s strong partnership history with Vestas and said that the current agreement further strengthens it.
"The V112-3.0 MW is an excellent match for producing more energy from the same available wind. We believe that the V112-3.0 MW turbine will deliver an efficient energy production and, thus, a high return on investment," added Öz.
The wind turbines at the Senbük plant are expected to be commissioned by the middle of 2013 and when fully operation the project is estimated to have annual production of 97,800 MWh.
