The Primavera plant, which can generate over 145 million kWh of electricity, is said to be the first of three to be completed at the Cristal wind power complex.
Once completed, the Cristal complex will have a total installed capacity of 90MW and would generate more than 400 million kWh of electricity per year.
According to the company, the total construction cost of the Cristal wind power complex is estimated at about €165m.
With the completion of the Primavera wind farm, Enel Green Power is now operating in Brazil with a total installed capacity of over 120MW.
The company has an overall installed capacity of approximately 8,900MW from a mix of renewable sources such as wind, solar, hydroelectric, geothermal, and biomass. It operates with a network of about 750 powerplants in 16 nations in Europe and the Americas.
