The plant has been opened, following the conclusion of planned maintenance, which continued for two weeks, reports Reuters.
The catalytic plant at the refinery has the ability to process around 30,000 barrels per day (bpd).
According to Pemex, the total capacity of the plant is around 190,000bpd.
A Pemex official, was quoted by the publication, as saying that no further maintenance was scheduled at the catalytic plant for the remainder of this year.
