The 24in wide in diameter and 413km long El Oro-to-Mazatlan pipeline will start from the El Oro and end in Mazatlan, in the state of Sinaloa, Mexico.

El Oro-to-Mazatlan pipeline is expected to have a capacity of 202 million cubic feet a day and will interconnect with the El Encino-to-Topolobampo Pipeline, another project awarded to Transcanada in the country.

Mazatlan pipeline is anticipated to begin services in the final quarter of 2016.

The two new pipelines will be supported by 25-year natural gas transportation service contracts by CFE.
