The plant will employ cellulosic biomass or plantfiber to generate bioethanol as opposed to corn or sugar cane and is the first commercial-scale cellulosic biomass refinery across the globe, claimed the company.
Telvent’s solutions enable operators to monitor all plant processes and respond to operating conditions in real-time.
The company will also develop the programming model and analyze several scenarios at the facility through advanced simulation and technical support facilitating higher efficiency while identifying potential issues and consequent responses.
Telvent chairman and CEO Ignacio Gonzalez stated that the company’s services and solutions assist customers with the implementation of complex and demanding technologies.
