The three-year contract covers activities including, hot tapping and STOPPLE plugging, as well as SmartPlug pressure isolation.

TDW senior vice president and COO Bruce Thames said, each year, the company’s technicians safely perform thousands of line interventions and isolations for customers all over the world.

"As a result, TDW is uniquely positioned to serve the needs of BP and to lead the development of best practices throughout our industry," Thames added.

The contract is a culmination of work with supplier engagement and evaluations, the company said.
