The company aims to define a structure to enable mining for uranium from Kuriskova for use in Slovakia’s energy sector.

The Kuriskova deposit is among the highest grade and low cost undeveloped uranium deposits globally at a grade of 0.555% U3O8.

Samples for ongoing metallurgical test work from recent drilling program were sent to AREVA’s laboratory facility at Bessines, France.

Sample testing is expected to begin soon as part of EUU’s pre-paid technical services agreement with AREVA.

The company has undertaken the feasibility study for the environmental impact study for the Kuriskova deposit.

Earlier resource estimates at the deposits demonstrated indicated resource of 28.5 million pounds of U3O8 at a grade of 0.555% U3O8 in 2.3 million tonnes and an additional inferred resource of 12.7 million pounds of U3O8 at a grade of 0.185% U3O8 contained in 3.1 million tonnes, at a cut-off of 0.05% U.
