The deal covers polymers and melamine containerised exports for Muntajat from Mesaieed to key hub ports in the region, and from here, through major international shipping line, the exports will be carried to final destinations worldwide.
Milaha is also responsible for re-positioning empty containers back to Mesaieed, as part of the agreement, while total exports total annual volume is expected to be around 150,000 TEU (Twenty Foot Equivalent Unit).
Muntajat CEO Abdulrahman Ali Al-Abdulla said the company has collaborated with Milaha, one of the oldest established companies in Qatar, to bring Qatar’s chemical and petrochemical exports to the world.
"This agreement between two Qatari companies represents the strong partnerships that will help carry the ‘Made in Qatar’ brand to the world. We are continuously looking for such strategic partnerships with local companies that will benefit our local economy," Abdulla added.
