The company will supply an SGT5-4000F gas turbine, an SST5-5000 steam turbine, an SGen5-2000H generator, the entire electrical equipment and an SPPA-T3000 I&C system for the Diemen 34 plant.
Siemens will also be responsible for maintenance of the gas turbine, steam turbine and generator.
The gas-fired plant is expected to supply more than 750,000 Dutch households with ecofriendly power.
The power plant will also be capable of supplying as many as 25,000 households in the immediate vicinity with district heat by means of steam extraction.
