The company started a diamond drill rig at the Maguire Lake focus area within property.
The drilling is focused on anomalies generated by the geophysical, geochemical and prospecting programs and initially the targets under the lake are being tested.
Additionally, a rotary air blast drill rig is being installed to test shallow targets.
MPVC has also received the ground gravity survey results which tied together the previously accumulated blocks of gravity data.
The property is located within the Wollaston Domain trend, which hosts a number of uranium deposits, including Cigar Lake, Rabbit Lake, Eagle Point, McClean Lake, Midwest Lake and McArthur River.
