The company said it intersected 220m of mineralization in a single drill hole and the mineralisation is yet to be fully tested.
Triton managing director Brad Boyle said, "The highly anticipated and prospective Nicanda Hill prospect continues to improve on the encouraging results already obtained late in 2013."
"This is an impressive beginning to the current drilling program, with significant visual identification of graphite mineralisation in all drill holes completed to date," Boyle added.
The company has to date completed six RC drill holes on the Nicanda Hill prospect.
The Nicanda Hill deposit is expected to host between 480 tons and 800 tons of graphite carbon mineralization.
