Founders and solar industry pioneers Stuart and Claudia Wentworth created their first anchor system for their customers.
“As licensed solar installers we could not find a code compliant mount that would last the life of their solar system while not damaging the roof,” said Claudia Wentworth. “So we invented one ourselves.”
The Wentworths quickly realized that they could help boost the use of solar energy everywhere by offering other homeowners a secure, waterproof, mounting system for solar panels. So they launched Quick Mount PV.
The Quick Mount PV flashing system meets or exceeds the minimum standards of the National Roofing Contractors Association, the American Roofing Manufacturers Association and the National Fire Protection Association. It is constructed of all aluminum and is designed to last 50 years.
New Home Renewable Energy Division General Manager Jason Hamilton said: “With very few U.S.-made anchoring systems available, we are certainly proud of our new relationship with Quick Mount PV. This company is a real leader the solar and PV field. Our appointment as a distributor will allow New Home to offer all Quick Mount PV products on a national scale at extremely competitive prices. Our customers will reap the benefits of our unparalleled quality and variety.”
Stuart Wentworth commented: “New Home is a good match for Quick Mount PV because like us, New Home is committed to environmental sustainability through promoting renewable energy and providing long-lasting goods in the marketplace with products of quality workmanship like ours.”
