Alliance Resources intersects further uranium at Four Mile project in South Australia

From 22 March 2014 to 28 May 2014, the company drilled a total of 55 rotary mud holes (FMD0161 to FMD0215) for 14,734.5m.

The majority of the latest holes drilled at Four Mile Northeast produced significant uranium intersections along with two of eight on Four Mile East, the company said.

Significant intersections include 10.9m at 0.59% pU3O8, 6.7m at 0.7% pU3O8 and 2m at 1.38% pU3O8.

Alliance’s subsidiary, Alliance Craton Explorer holds 25% stake in the project, while Quasar Resources holds the remaining and manages the project.

The Four Mile East and Four Mile West uranium deposits are said to host mineral resource of 9.8 million tons at an average grade of 0.33% U3O8, containing 32,000 ton U3O8.
