The plant will deliver more than 24 million kilowatt-hours of green energy from poultry dung upon completion.
The Lower Saxony-based biogas all-rounder chief commercial officer Roel Slotman said, "The agrarian country of the Philippines offers an enormous potential for use of bio-energy."
The Philippine Ministry of Energy aims to install at least 276MW of additional capacity from biomass and biogas over the next three years, according to the information provided by the Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).

The plan will use the annually accumulating 22,000t of poultry dung and 30,000t of rice and corn straw through waste-to-energy.
