Within the framework of this activity, Nucleoeléctrica Argentina S.A. (NA-SA), the owner company of the Atucha I plant, awarded Tecnatom the project for the detailed revision of the design of the CR, in accordance with the requirements of the Argentinean nuclear regulatory authority (ARN).
During the performance of this project, different parts of the CR were revised, such as the main panel, the main console, the fuel assembly movement console, secondary panels and the working environment, with each of these parts including evaluation of panels, furniture and components, from the perspective of both hardware and software.
For performance of the work, a 3D mock-up of the CR was used, visits were made to the plant and the CR personnel were interviewed.
