Over 100 Philadelphia homeowners have signed up with UEE and Eos will bring its experience and financial resources to the UEE customer base.
Andrew Kleeman, managing partner of Eos, said: “I am personally delighted that UEE has selected us to carry forward their concept of affordable solar power in Philadelphia. We are confident we can build all 110 UEE projects in 2010. We will also be able to bring alternative finance concepts to the UEE customers. The overlapping Federal and State government subsidies that are currently available can make ownership an even better option than leasing and it can often be done with little or no money down.”
Eos will be contacting each UEE customer about potential build dates and options other than leasing. With its finance partners, Eos will be offering the UEE customers an opportunity to own their system outright, and to reap all of the financial benefits of a solar power system, Eos said.
