Located in the Midi-Pyrénées region, the project has a 15-year power sales contract with EDF France.
Boralex president and CEO Patrick Lemaire said, "With the Calmont wind power project acquisition, Boralex is pursuing its growth in France, strengthening its energy portfolio in the wind segment."
Construction work on the Calmont wind farm project will begin during the first quarter of 2015 and is expected to be online by the end of 2015.
Around €25m will be invested by Boralex to complete the project.
