French power and natural gas major GDF Suez has reported sales of E83.1 billion for the full year 2008, a 16.6% increase compared to E71.2 billion for the full year 2007.
In the fourth quarter of 2008, the company has reported a 14% increase in sales, compared to the same period of 2007. In 2008, the Energy France business line has reported sales of E14.46 billion, a 16.9% increase compared to the year 2007.
According to the company, the Benedelux Division has recorded sales of E14.16 billion for 2008, an 18.9% increase compared to 2007. In 2008, the Europe Division has generated sales of E8.75 billion, a 32.4% increase compared to 2007.
It also reported that the International Division has reported sales E7.62 billion in 2008, a 14.1% increase compared with 2007. In 2008, the Global Gas and LNG business line has reported sales of E10.83 billion, a 33.7% increase compared to 2007.
In addition to the two above said divisions, the Infrastructures business line has recorded sales of E896 million, a 37.8% increase compared to the year 2007. In 2008, the Energy Services business line has recorded sales of E13.99 billion, an 8.8% organic growth compared with 2007.
