The power plant would be located in the southeast quarter of Section 13, Township 80, Range 5, west of the Sixth Meridian and the northeast quarter of Section 12, Township 80, Range 5, west of the Sixth Meridian. Glacier Power Ltd. received approval for the power plant in 2009 with a condition to complete construction by May 30, 2014.
Glacier Power Ltd. has now requested that the completion date be extended to May 30, 2023. Written submissions are due September 5, 2014.
