Under the agreements, Lundin will acquire a 15% stake in Petrolia Norway’s license as well as a 20% interest of a carve out area of PL674 from E.ON.
Located east of PL501/265 where the Johan Sverdrup field is situated, PL674 covers an area of 1,027km².
E.ON operates the licensee with a 50% stake and Petrolia Norway owns the remaining 50% interest.
Effective from 1 January 2014, the transactions is subject to Norwegian Government approval.
