The industry publication has revealed that the company is planning to invest E60 million in building a warehouse to hold petroleum products that will be situated in Port la Nouvelle, France.
Rompetrol will carry out the investment and construction through its newly-acquired French arm Dyneff. The so-called Dyneff 3 store facility will be completed between 2011 and 2012, PetrolPlaza said.
According to PetrolPlaza, the new 17-hectare storage plant will be positioned so that it has access to railways, as well as pipelines and port equipment for loading and unloading the petroleum products.
The new 140,000 to 200,000 cubic meter capacity facility will replace an existing 136,000 cubic meter capacity site that will continue to operate until the new one is finished.
