The solar PV power plant, which will feature Trina Solar’s high quality PV modules, has secured planning consent in January 2014.
Upon completion of construction in the third quarter of 2014, the plant will be connected to the national grid before the end of the first quarter of 2015.
If connected before the end of March 2015, the facility will be entitled to receive 1.4 Renewables Obligation Certificates (ROCs) per megawatt-hour (MWh).
The project will supply clean energy to more than 14,000 UK homes per year.
