Central European Distribution Corporation (CEDC), which produces the Zubrowka, Bols and Soplica brands of vodka among others, will distribute alcoholic beverages to PKN Orlen’s more than 900-strong fuel retail network for two years, effective June 1, 2007.
William Carey, CEO and president of CEDC, commented: We are excited to begin this relationship with Orlen, which we believe highlights our national distribution network and extensive product portfolio in Poland.
We expect our cooperation with Orlen to be the beginning of a long term partnership to service the wine and spirit needs of one of the largest chains of retail shops in the Polish market, Mr Carey added.
CEDC operates 16 distribution centers and 76 satellite branches in Poland, and imports many of the world’s leading brands, including Remy Martin, Jagermeister and Guinness.
