Rated for depths of up to 3,000m, the new DVXT has been designed to reduce delivery lead times, helping customers to meet the challenges of deepwater projects.
GE Oil & Gas Subsea Systems engineering executive Chris Phebus said: "By offering our DVXT as a standard product, we can not only improve cycle times, but also ensure the highest levels of quality, safety and reliability for our products."
The DVXT, deployed with SemStar5-R remote electronics canister, features new communication technology to provide higher subsea reliability, extended service life and improved environmental monitoring.
