The waste-to-energy facility is scheduled to enter service in spring 2015.
EnviTec regional director Asia/Pacific Hendrik van der Tol said: "This project allows us to prove the efficiency of our Waste-to-Energy technology on the Japanese market now too.

Renagen CEO Daisuke Mishima said: "Together with the technological expertise of EnviTec Biogas, we would like to establish ourselves in Japan’s emerging biogas market."
The Japanese government has introduced guaranteed feed-in compensations with the equivalent in Euro of 28 cents to twenty years.Renagen is part of Rematec, a recycling company group based in Japan and Southeast Asia.
In the scope of the strategic partnership with EnviTec, an annual total of up to ten biogas plants are slated for construction in Japan.
