Stewart replaces Francis Neill, who was managing director of Brinker Technology until he left the company last summer.
He will supervise the Brinker Technology’s continuing growth activity in the oil and gas sector and boost its presence in the water industry through the diversification of its proven oil and gas technology into the water sector.
Earlier to the appointment as general manager, Stewart was sales and marketing director for Enventure for three years, developing global markets for expandable technology in the drilling and production sectors.
Stewart was temporary chairman of niche consultancy INGEN before moving to Enventure in 2004. Earlier to that he held some of the senior business development and operations roles with Petro-Data, Phoenix Petroleum Services and Varco.
