The licensing agreement includes TransData’s US Patent Nos. 6,181,294; 6,462,713; and 6,903,699.
The move represents the fifth license agreement generated by TransData for its Smart Meter Patents portfolio and the licensees include Sensus USA, as well as large utilities such as Alabama Power Company, Georgia Power Company, Mississippi Power Company and Wisconsin Power & Light.
