Under the terms of the agreement, Air Products will provide single mixed refrigerant process technology, as well as engineer, design and manufacture the heat exchanger equipment for the liquefaction section for the LNG plant.
The LNG plant’s liquefaction process will use Air Products’ coil wound main cryogenic heat exchanger technology.
The produced LNG will be distributed to the Chinese market to help meet the growing demand for clean energy.
Air Products LNG business manager Warren Miller said: "Having won several projects of this size, and as a key technology supplier to Technip, we are happy to be providing our state of the art technology and liquefaction expertise for this location.
"We expect additional projects of this kind as the demand to make available the natural gas from more mid-size undeveloped gas reserves continues to increase."
The LNG facility will begin onstream production in the second half of 2016.
