KBR will provide the FEED and PMS services to develop the process design, layout, integration and optimization of the facility; develop equipment and material specifications; prepare EPC bid packages; and develop an estimate for the construction of the refinery.
The company will also assist Saudi Aramco in overseeing, managing and directing the work-related activities for all phases of the refinery and a marine terminal project.
The Jazan refinery is expected to have a capacity of 400,000 barrels per day (bpd).
