Under the deal, GCL-Poly will supply China Sunergy with an aggregate of approximately 4,400MW of wafers over six years.
The agreement also includes a clause for a price adjustment mechanism based on wafer market price.
Delivery of the wafers is expected to be commenced this month.
GCL-Poly executive director and president Shu Hua said that the partnership will be a win-win situation for both companies in the global solar industry.
China Sunergy manufactures solar cells from silicon wafers, which utilize crystalline silicon solar cell technology to convert sunlight directly into electricity.
