Under the 15-month deal, Repsol will deliver 1.9bcm of gas equivalent to Korea, equivalent to the annual gas supply of about one million homes.
The natural gas will be shipped from the Peru LNG terminal, to which Repsol has the sole off-take rights.
With this LNG supply deal, Repsol extends its European and American operations to Asia.
Repsol said it shipped 9bcm of gas equivalent last year, and following the start of operations at Peru LNG, it expects to increase volumes by at least 50% in 2011.
