Services include the collection of oceanographic data to support the design and installation of offshore structures and pipelines. The duration of each contract is two years, with an extension option for an additional two years.

Tasks also involve the installation and support of moored ocean observation systems at different locations along the coast of Brazil. The Emma McCall is expected to begin operations by mid-February 2008 and the Woods Hole Group is contributing oceanographic expertise.
