ONGC has stated that it needs to improve its pipeline infrastructure for the transport of oil and gas following the company’s Mumbai offshore field redevelopment project which envisages production till 2030.
The ONGC board has also approved the third phase of development of the PY3 field in the Cauvery offshore block at a capital expenditure of INR1.47 billion. The company holds a 40% stake in the field.
This development phase is expected to enhance the recovery by 10.52 million metric stock tank barrels.
