The retailer’s E85 fuel is reported to be a blend of 85% ethanol and 15% petrol and can be used in flexi-fuel automobiles, according to the report.
The report stated that Svenska Statoil expanded its ethanol pump network across Sweden to 272 in 2007 compared to 170 in 2006.
The report also observed that the 5% ethanol in the retailer’s 95-octane blended fuel corresponds to a volume of 54 million liters of ethanol.
