The company estimates the remainder of the customers affected at Milliken and Finch will be restored shortly.

Toronto Hydro System Control reports that about 700 customers still remain without power as a result of localized outages throughout the city. Toronto Hydro crews have reduced the number significantly, which at its peak totaled 4,200 and will continue to restore power as quickly as possible.

The city of Toronto reminds all residents to refer to the latest edition of ‘Our Toronto’ newsletter issued last week which includes power outage tips and an emergency planning guide.

The company focus remains on the safe and speedy return of power to all customers. Toronto Hydro reminds residents to exercise caution around downed electrical wires and in areas of the city that are densely populated by large trees.
