Mr Johnson’s area of responsibility includes information technology, human resources and certain other enterprise support functions. He also serves as chairman of the Williams Foundation.
Mr Johnson will provide the company with consulting services through year-end to assist in the transition. He has served as a senior vice president of Williams since 1999, a year after he joined the company as vice president of human resources.
