Under the long-term contract with FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC), Areva TN will supply dry used fuel storage equipment, and related services to the Davis Besse and Beaver Valley nuclear power plants.
Located in Oak Harbor, Ohio, the Davis-Besse nuclear power station features a single pressurized water reactor. The Beaver Valley nuclear power station is located at Shippingport, Pennsylvania, US.
Areva TN will also be responsible for managing the loading campaigns.
Under the contract signed with Exelon, Areva TN will develop Nuhoms dry shielded canisters and horizontal storage modules to the Limerick generating station in Pennsylvania.
