Systemsgroup’s new division provides services to nuclear power generation companies, chemical and petrochemical companies that face government regulations requiring Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS).
The new division provides clients with integrated solutions that include security staffing, security technologies, products, design and engineering.
Shelly Anderson, vice president of operations at Safeguard, said: “This is a significant move for our company to ready itself for the nuclear security market. We were invited to provide these enhanced services by one of our existing clients and our board of directors recently approved the request, so we are moving forward with our expansion.”
Michael Lagow, CEO of Safeguard, said: “This newly formed division gives our company the ability to over double our current revenue stream within our fiscal year ending in June 2011. With this expansion, we are providing full consulting, analytic, technical programs and staffing solutions to the nuclear market as a fully integrated security solutions provider.”
