The company will implement Ivara EXP Enterprise software at its Harrison power plant in West Virginia, US, to create technically validated equipment reliability programs that support a proactive process for asset care. Allegheny Energy expects to expand this initiative with the remainder of the generation fleet following the implementation at the Harrison power plant.
Ivara said that the EXP asset performance management software provides a cohesive and integrated platform to develop, implement and manage a living equipment reliability program.
