Ms Clark-Johnson has a 40-year career with Gannett, a diversified news and information company with operations in 41 states. She has recently announced her plans to retire from the company in May 2008.
Ms Clark-Johnson was also a senior group president of Gannett’s Pacific Newspaper Group and had oversight responsibility for 32 companies, including Hawaii and Guam of US.
